After mother nature dominated Saturday night, the Carolina Clash race was run on Sunday Afternoon at Fayetteville Motor Speedway. Scott qualified 17th but with some great driving skills and a fantastic car set-up from Rodney Bethea and crew, and a little bit of luck to boot, the 1A machine wound up finishing 3rd just behind Ricky Weeks and Jeff Smith. A great run for Scott and crew and tops among all local drivers. Way to go Autry and crew!
Scott Autry posted a great run at Fayetteville Motor Speedway on March 22, 2008, finishing 4th place out of a jam-packed field of 25 cars that raced in the Crazy 8 Season Opener.
Scott was able to complete a few laps in the $4,000 to win super late model race but engine troubles carried over from qualifying ended the night. Official Finish 15th.
Scott grabbed a provisional entry after troubles during qualifying to start at the rear of the pack but wound up making a charge to the front to wind up finishing 8th in the $8,000 Clash finale at FMS on 9-29-07.
